Today we want to share a recent development process carried out by our 3D department; a department where characters come to life, products and tools are created and the ideas of our developers come true. Mixed Reality is an important area in this respect, as it’s where all the graphic material needed for our projects is designed.

In this post, we will demonstrate the fantastic recreation of this modeling for the Unity Asset Store; a stylized P90 type subframe. It is the perfect prototype for your projects, which offers many opportunities, for example it is most suitably used for most first-person shooter games. Starting from a basic sketch, we demonstrate the initial modeling process, high poly modeling, retopology, UV mapping and texturing preparation. We also use several interesting technologies, which include Autodesk Maya, ZBrush, Autodesk 3ds Max and Marmoset Toolbag 3, which you can see in action in the following video. This model is part of an accessories package currently in progress, so stay tuned 😉

The Unity Asset Store is home to 2D, 3D and SDK modeling, as well as templates and tools for games development, and we are very proud to be part of it, where we can share our new projects and developments.

Do you want to know how we did it? Find out in this video:
